1. Open the link, parivahan.gov.in/parivahan
2. Press “online services” on the homepage and then select ‘Driving licence related services’ from the drop-down menu
3. Choose the name of your state
4. A new page will open, select DL services
5. Press Continue, then, fill in your details, including your DL number, date of birth, state, etc
6. Click on Proceed, and you will be redirected to a new page
7. Verify all your details mentioned on the page
8. Submit your mobile number, qualification and address and press the Confirm tab
9. Proceed further and select Renewal of DL
10. Generate application number and upload all the relevant documents
11. Upload your photograph and signature

Procedure for Online Appointment for Renewal of Driving Licence

The second stage of online application for renewal of Driving Licence is booking the slot or an appointment. An applicant needs to visit the RTO on the date and time as booked by him/her along with the documents, printed application form and fee receipt. 1. Visit https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/

Cost/Fees for renewal of driving licence

The fees for the renewal of a driving licence may vary depending on whether you have applied for the renewal within the grace period or after the grace period. In case you have applied for the renewal within the grace period, you would be required to pay Rs 200 as an application fee. If the grace period is over, then you need to pay the late fees of Rs 1000 along with the applicable fee for the renewal of driving licence.
